Meow I definitely need those lessons you mentioned !!
Today is Wednesday the 4th July 2007 and I am bored out of my brain that is why I decided to come back onto this thing and see what I can come up with. It is school holidays down her in the land of Oz (Melbourne, Victoria) and I don't have to drive children to and from school, nor do I have to work apart from 4 hours on Tuesday and 4 hours on Sunday so I have heaps of time to myself.
Outside is your typical winters day, the wind is blowing constantly, the rain is coming and going, it's freezing out there and I should be happy curled up in front of our Open Fire watching a good DVD or reading a good book but nah, that's not what I feel like doing.
The Gateway Up To The Mountain
Last Sunday I went to Mt. Buller to the snow with my family, well my eldest daughter BB didn't come but Treen and Shark did. We had a great time even though the weather conditions weren't the best. We hope to get there again real soon under much better conditions. Below is a picture of Treen and Shark with the snowman they made, it was real cute they used Jersey caramels for its eyes and a red lolly snake for its mouth. Treen is still one big kid at 20 years of age and so is Shark at 16, But what the heck I hope they stay the way they are for a few more years, before they know it they will have to grow up and have responsibilities, they may as well stay the way they are and enjoy life. Their time will come in no time, where they will have their share of worries, and responsibilities.

Whoo-hoo, Melinda, you've done it ... it looks great !! Well done.
Wish you were here ... it's been raining, though, so you'd probably be bored !!
Looking forward to catching up on the weekend.
Take care, hugs, Connie
Hi I found you through meows comments. Good to find another aussie blogger. Been on few snow holidays myself although never made it to mount buller, always went to falls creek, or mount hotham, love the big D run. We were actually there stayed in Bright in 2000 and saw the olympic relay of the torch as it went through Bright on its way to Albury Wodonga, but missed the toch coming down the Big D at Hotham the previous night. Bummer. I used to take food colouring with us to the snow and make coloured snow for our snowmen, or just colour it and make snowballs. Miss our snow trips, have not been for since 2000, hoping to get back there next year.
