It's 3pm Friday afternoon I have been sewing costumes for the school my sister teachers at for the last 5 hours, I was determined to get them finished today but - No such luck, even with the help of a friend I still have heaps to do. Asha my dog is not happy with me, I usually walk her every day and she has been sulking all day, she keeps coming up to me and putting her head on my lap and looks at me with her huge brown eyes pleading for me to stop and take her for a walk. Every time I stand up She runs to the front door, ball in mouth as she normally does when we go for a walk, she is so cute.
The other day I was feeling sorry for the pig because I didn't think it would grow a winter coat and it has been so cold, but looking at this pig it has a nice warm winter coat.

The weekend is here and I still have no idea we are doing, I was thinking of going to Lake Mountain to the snow, it is not a huge snow field just a small sight seeing one suitable for cross country skiing or tobogganing. I have promised a friend to go to the snow with them one day as her children have never seen snow, so I thought Lake Mountain was as good as any!! We will most probably hire a couple of toboggans and let the children go crazy. If we don't go to the snow then we will just stay at home sorting out the back yard. I have managed to empty our old above ground pool that the kids have out grown of and want to pull it down and try and work out what I can put in its place.
Well I guess I better be off and go and clean up my family room, before the family all return home from work, it is covered with sewing. I hope everyone has a great weekend, keep safe all, bye for now!

Hi Melinda,
Love that pig, he's so cute (and big !!). Asha doesn't seem worried, though !!
Poor Asha, being second best to the sewing !!! She's gorgeous, please give her a cuddle from me.
About the weekend, I will call you, but we probably won't join you at Lake Mountain. Chicky has made other plans for Sunday, and guess who has to be taxi driver LOL.
Good luck with getting the rest of the cossies done ... hope the overlocker behaves !!
Talk soon, love to all ... Connie
Hi Connie,
How can you love that Pig ?? He is so big and scary. Hubby thinks the people aren't freeding him enough so we have decided we will bring him all the scaps of food we can. I went to give him a carrot today and seriously he nearly took my whole hand I screamed fell backwards and dropped the carrot, he tried to jump through the fence to get it. Grrrrrr Scary stuff LOL.
We are still not sure what we are doing re the snow Hubby and Shark are only interested in boarding and want to go to Buller next weekend so we may just leave it.
Anyways Take Care I am sure I will talk to you before the weekend ends.
Oh yeah I have totally completed 17 costumes sequins and all.
I am so glad that you stopped by my blog! I don't know if I've ever received a comment from someone in Australia...I am so excited! A pig, with a winter coat????? I've never heard of that. (Clearly I am a city girl). At least you didn't have to take time out of sewing costumes in order to sew a coat so that the pig could stay warm. ha ha ha. Glad you finally took Asha out for a walk...and I bet Asha was glad too.
We used to have hogs when I was growing up - along with just about every other farm animal known to man, along with dogs, cats and assorted other pets.
I'm sure the pig is just hungry, not really vicious. Pigs are one of the few animals who won't overeat, so anything you feed him will be welcome and not harmful, I'm sure.
And I'm sure there will be all the Emmy pictures you could possibly want to see on my blog, and you may even get sick of seeing them, LOL! ;D
One thing about it, I'm never bored when I visit you - You change templates so much trying to get a look you like. :-)
Have a great weekend, whatever you decide to do, Melinda.
Love and hugs,
Diane
Hi Diane,
My husband is like you and thinks that the poor pig is just hungry. He went and gave it last nights food scraps and it munched it all up in seconds. He thinks it has got too big and the people are having trouble feeding it, so from now on we will try and give it what we can.
It must be so frustrating for those that visit my blog to see it has changed yet again. I honestly cant seem to find the look I want LOL.
Anyways keep enjoying your lovely grand daughter.
Have a fantastic weekend
Take care - Smiles Melinda
Hi Melinda ~~ How kind of you and your husband to feed that pig - seeing you don't like it too much. Well done on all the costumes - what a huge task you took on.
Hope you had a great weekend - wherever you were. Take care,
Love, Merle.
